    1st Plate

    I had this piece of wood left over from my UFO bowl pic I posted yesterday. Comments Criticism welcome!! Our three year old insisited on holding the plate while I took the pic

    Thank you all for the comments. I do havea question. What is the best method of finishing the back side of a plate? Do you use a jam chuck?

    Awesome Plate!
    Love that Grain, what kind of wood is it?
    I would use a jam chuck with a soft pad between the two.

    The finish is Liberon Wood Turners Polish. Then I buff with a soft cotton cloth
