HTC Mobile Base 2000 vs 3000

I really need to get some of tools on mobile bases and found a good deal on the HTC universal bases. They have both the 2000 and 3000 but the difference is $20 a piece. I need 5 of these, so the price difference adds up quickly.

Is the 3000 really that much better? TIA for your insight.

Oh, I will be using these for my jointer, bandsaw, drillpress, sanding station, and router table.

I can't speak for the 3000, but I have my tablesaw, bandsaw and drill press all on the 2000 and can move them around just fine. I would say if the 2000 can support the weight, no point in spending the extra money!
