    Anyone Tried Varathane Renewal?

My oak floors need a bit of help. Mostly, they're scratched up from my 2 big dogs walking on them. Rather than sand and refinish, I was looking at the Varathane Renewal Wood Floor Restoring System. It chemically etches and conditions the existing finish to accept a water-based poly topcoat.

Does anyone here have any experience with this product? Did it work? How long did it last?

    Thanks!

    varathane floor finnish

Yes i have used it to finnish the wood floors in our church parsonage and
it worked real well. The floors can not be scratched very deep. I did
this about 2 years ago and the floors still look good. I will say that it is
not as easy a job as they say it is, a lot of on your knees time. Good luck.
