Another Sawstop with router table

I just finished setting up my Sawstop station. Here it is:

You can see I've installed a Jessem Mast-R-Slide. The router table top is from a stand-alone router table that I disassembled.

For the fence, I Jointech's Sawtrain rails and Smart Fence, and a Jointech Clincher that I already had. (The latter is the bridge to which the fence is attached.)

In these pictures, the bridge (Clincher) is positioned so that when the fence is as far to the left it can go, it just touches the blade. In this position, I can rip material up to about 17.5" wide. If I need to do a wider rip, I have to move the bridge to the right. To do that, I simply lossen a knob and slide it down. The next picture shows the bridge moved all the way to the right end of the table. That permits a maximum rip of about 48".

This picture also shows (if you've got sharp eyes), that the maxium distance from the fence to the router arbor is about 17".

I also installed Wixey's Saw Fence Digital Readout. Here is a better pic of it:

Here's a pic of the fence used for routing. Notice the handy Jointech featherboard. It can also be used when ripping (front part only, of course).

If I need more than 17" or so between the fence and router arbor, I can flip the fence and bridge 180 degrees and work from from the other side of the table.

Here's the dust box containing the router, from the front. The door latches with a magnet. Notice the Wixey readout on the (Triton) router?

And here it is from the back, for times I flip the fence and bridge.

Can you spot something a bit odd in this pic? When routing from this side, I rotate the router 180 degrees.

If I need to open the Sawstop's access door, I need to first remove the router and the dust box. For this reason, I attached the dust box to the table with a single bolt.

Are you liking the Mast R Slide on the sawstop? Was it difficult to install?

I'm very pleased with it. It has obvious capacity limitations, but that's not a problem for most of the work I do--I use my Festools to break down large panels.

Installation was straightforward (didn't have to drill any holes in the edge of the Sawstop top), but adjustment to make it level with the saw table was a bit tedious.

If any Creekers decide to get a Mast-R-Slide for their Sawstop, I encourage them to contact me for a few tips.

PS Mike, I noticed (from an auto-email I received from SC) that you wrote "Wast R Slide" in your initial post. I assume you edited your post to correct that. I know its fairly common for people to reverse letters when typing, but not so common to turn them upside down.
