You'll like it--it's a very nice DP. Aside from the overall quality of the made-in-Canada Generals, it's got that cool 1940's look. That's probably when they made the castings for it.

I see it was a display model. Maybe your luck will continue and it has the table height crank (a $300 accessory!).

I was surprised that I did not see a "SOLD" sign on the General 8" jointer (480-1-M2). Regular $3,049, selling for $1,299!
