    rocking horse

Hi all! It's been a while since I've been on the board. Other projects have kept me away from woodworking. Anyway, I did manage to squeeze one in for my God daughter's baptism. I built her a rocking horse. My first one. Just thought I'd post a picture and give the "masters" a chance to see how the grasshopper" is coming along in his quest of knowledge of the wood.

It's nice to be back & please let me know what you think!

Dominick, I think it's great. Your God daughter will love it!

    Your design?

Very nice job, Dominick. It looks strong, and should allow an exuberant ride without risk of tipping for or aft.

Dominick, great looking work. Here is a variation of the traditional rocking horse that I made for my nephew - the rocking chopper.

Thanks for the kudo's guy's. I like the chopper rocker very much. If my God daughter turns out to be a "tomboy" I just might have to build one those too!

That is a beauty and built to last. Great job.
