    so i find this knot in a piece of cedar 6x6..

    sorry if this is off topic, but i kinda think i can see jesus in there..



    anyone run into similar stuff?

    I've never come across a likeness of him in wood, but I sure say his full name 10-12 times a day, and funny thing is his middle name keeps changing too.

    What you are experiencing is called Pareidolia. As human beings, we are excellent at finding patterns and recognizing things like faces and people. We are so good at it that sometimes we see things that look real to us when really they are just random patterns.
