    More new stuff

These are layered bowls, ala Jim MacPhail. I gave a couple of these as Christmas gifts and still haven't caught up with the requests that spun off from those....good thing they're easy.

Lee, excellent use of scrap materials; very nicely done! I enjoy doing glueups like this. I think yours are particularly nice, pleasing. Jude

(this five-attachments-per-post limit is a pain...)

Got to the point I was doing double-sized glue-ups to save time...

Very, Very nice pieces. I like them all. Great contrasting woods with a clean style and shape.

Absolutely beautiful work. I really like the wide variety of forms that you gave them.

All very nice...I think I like number three in the first batch and three and four in the second batch the best for some reason.

I am getting tired of saying it Lee, just beautiful.

Number two in the first batch and three and four in the second really stand out to me.

Those are all very beautiful pieces. I can see why you've received so many requests for more.

    Lee these bowls are excellent!

I was kicking a layered bowl design around in my head, but don't really know how to go about it. You mentioned Jim Macphail, I searched for him and layered bowls but came up blank. Do you have a website that could get me started?

My bad: it's "McPhail", no "a". Try www.jimmcphail.com/.
