    Add on laser light?

I seem to remember seeing a laser light that you can add to a machine.
I mean the light to use to line up the saw blade for a cut. Either a ready made one or someone had adapted something like one of those pointer things to make it work on a miter saw or radial arm saw. Anyone got any ideas?

My last Rockler catalog had these on the back cover. No idea how good it was but I think it was around $50ish.

PENN STATE INDUSTRIES Also has one. I think it is called the accu-laser but don't hold me to it.

    www.laserkerf.com

Look at www.laserkerf.com. I was a little skeptical about the mounting method (high tech tape), but I replaced the "spinning" laser on a Craftsman miter saw and it has been working like a champ. It was a world of improvement over the "spinner" laser that comes with ridgid, ryobi and craftsman saws. Accuracy is as advertised and the unit has been trouble free. I would buy again as a retrofit.
