It's a little wet here today

This is a view from our front door today. It's been raining on and off for about a week and we've had 5" in the last 25 HRS.

Those who sense the winds of change should build windmills, not windbreaks.

David-- you can send some this way anytime-- we have only had 3 inches of rain----------- since last July! Of course we only average 10 inches a year anyway! So dry the weeds don't grow.

David, it's wet here also. I think it's the same cold front that is triggering the storms for both of us. It's right at 8:30 now and has been raining for 30 minutes, possible hail in the area. Supposed to clear up in about 2 hours, then another set of storms later in the afternoon/evening/night. Then we are supposed to get a week without rain. That means I'll finally get to work on the sprinkler pump down at the creek next weekend! We'll probably need the water on the grass/dirt by then. Jim.
