    Hi Sascha-

    Nice shop! Thanks for sharing.

One comment... aren't you concerned about the safety aspects of having so many sharp tools stored with the points exposed? I'd worry about tripping over something someday, and falling into all those gouges etc would make me nervous.

Also, in an earthquake some of those could become missles... especially the cutting tools stored up high along the back wall.

Trips, stumbles, earthquakes, etc are all worth thinking about ahead of time.

haha, nah, I am not worried, the lathe is at an angle to the tools and the short lathe bed on the left of the lathe actually shield that area. usually I have that shop cart in front of it.
and in cas of an earth quake, I hide under my workbench

Very Nice video. Great job! What size ductwork will you run around the shop and will you use PVC or Spiral pipe?
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

there is a slight chance for spiral, but I was able to locate 8" and 6" PVC, so maybe that. I'll know more next week

Sascha, you have some pretty nice machinery and tools there. Nice tour - it looks as if you have just about everything you need. Wait a minute, do any of us EVER have "everything" we need? Nice job on the video tour.

    Hey Sascha,

Just caught the video. Thanks for the tour. You might just win the "He who has the most toys" saying. Let us see some pics when you are finished with the DC.
