    Creeker (and others) gathering

This afternoon we had a few people over for a backyard barbecue.

This is Jesse Cloud and his wife Inta; they live in Placitas and we met them through another forum.

This is Betty and Bruce Page, who live across town from us.

The whole group (except Betty, who didn't quite make it into the picture), David, Mike Candelaria (a woodworker who hasn't become a Creeker yet), Dan Summers, one of David's co-workers and a chair-maker and turner, Jesse and Inta Cloud, and Bruce Page (just his back).

We noshed on grilled chicken, hamburgers, tater salad, and other munchies. It was actually cool enough in the yard under the trees to be enjoyable.

What fun!!! It's great when online friends get together in person for some food, refreshment and "the burl that got away" stories...

Looks like fun. Wished I could have been there...but then again.....There was a 2nd Creeker gathering today in Houston....Just imagine if we could have combined both groups!

We had a great time Nancy, thanks for inviting us.
Sorry for the drool spots that I left in your shop…again!

That appears to have been a great get together.

It is nice to get together with people you "talk" to on SMC.
