Thread: Makita combo kit?

    Makita combo kit?

I'm thinking of the 18V Li Makita kit w/ drill, impact driver & saw.

I'm usually a Bosch tooler, but the kit price for Li is too high.

    Any experience?

I don't own it one but I soon will. My neighbor is an electrician and helped me install some ceiling fans and he uses this drill. It is FANTASTIC. Light and powerful, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in this drill.

I've got the two piece, 18v Li drill/impact kit. I also have had the 24V Bosch kit for a number of years now and I find that I pull out the Makita now instead of the Bosch. Very nice tools.

I bought the 6piece kit about 5 months ago. Everything except the flashlight is great! I love the little impact driver especially. I do HVAC and can get in some tight spots. The size, torque, and LED light are awesome.Mine came with the circular saw and it is very impressive as well. I liked everything so much that I bought the sawzall too. My only disappointment is the flashlight....it 's switch was cantankarous (wouldnt stay lit) and it wont light at all now. I'm gonna send it in for warranty this week. I go thru drills every couple of years....use them daily and use them hard. I have had just about every name brand of cordless drills since their invention (alot of Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc) and I feel this is the best I've ever owned. Good luck!
