    Another Box Elder Platter

    Small Box Elder Platter turned end grain. Measures 9-3/4" dia. x 1-1/4" tall. Finished with antique oil and Beall buffed. Thanks for looking and your comments/critiques are welcome.

    9 1/2" is small??? Either way I like it. Looks like a desert scene with the spikes or reddish rock giong into the grey!!!

    I use the Dremal engraving tool, about $20 at the borg. I completely finish and buff the piece before signing then hit it again with the wax buff. Seems to make it stand out a little.
