Cherry burl HF...yet to be finished with a stand

This is from a Cherry blank sent to me by Jim Becker. I wanted to do a nice HF out of it because it looked like some nice grain and figure in this wood.
Thanks Jim for the nice Cherry blank. I still need to do a pedestal stand for this form as I accidentally have a hole left in the bottom of it from a brain cramp I had during mounting and turning error.

    3-3/4" tall by 7" across

Antique Oil finish with a buffing.

Dennis that is a beauty. I really like the wood and form. Are you going to do like a ebony stand? Excellent Dennis.

That's a really nice piece, there Dennis. It looks like you started with a fantastic piece of wood and you really did it justice! I like the form. Oh, and very innovative thinking to put a... uh... drain in the bottom. If you've had as much rain as we have, it'll come in handy.

    So Dennis.

Young Joseph has complimented you on the turning; and honored you by plagiarizing your signature.

My question to you is this: When's he get his own Mayo?

That's a beauty! Was that the second adventure at hollowing? That's also some incredible wood.
