    Rosewood?/Cocobolo? Hollow Form

It's a little thicker on the bottom than I might have liked, but...
The wood came from the estate of Richard Pagano (Beaver Pond Studio).
Just a small piece, but the wood turns nicely. Takes a really smooth finish without effort.

    Wood: ?
Finish: sanded to 2000 and buffed a bit
    Diameter: 3 3/8 inches
    Height: 2 inches

Really pretty George! If you don't mind my asking, what do you use to hollow something that small?

Very nice. It really does look nicely polished. Looks like cocobolo which is a rosewood.
I could cry for the time I've wasted, but thats a waste of time and tears.

The HF is a beauty George. I really like the form and finish. Well done.

Nice! I'd say Cocobolo. Whatever it is it's beautiful wood.

Cocobolo is a member of the rosewood family...so the answer is "maybe" and "yes"...

    Very nice work.

Very nice George...you did that piece of wood justice. I'm sure that's going to be a keeper for you.

    Thanks Mike,
I use the mini Rolly Munro hollower... I have them both, but prefer the smaller one for roughing, and for very small projects like this.

    Thank you everyone...
    Jason,
I had the piece out at a show today, didn't sell but I'm hoping (I have a bigger piece like this, somewhere).
