Incra 1000SE not square to table?

I know a lot of people hahe the Incra 1000SE and like it. I bought one last week at Rockler with the 25% off coupon. I was sitting it up today and noticed that the fence is not square to the table. I had to put 2 pieces of Al pop can between the angle piece that connects to the fence and the protractor head. Has anyone ever had this problem? I like it otherwise. I contacted Incra once already for some missing parts and they responded really quickly. I had the parts in 3 days Am I going to have to contact them again? There is no bending that piece of angle. I guess that is a good thing.

It's not unusual to have to set this, it's been discussed before. I also had to shim the fence on mine...

Thanks Ken. I did a search and saw a lot of posts about the miter gauge but nothing about it not being square to the table.

Shimming is a good answer. Mine is slightly out and I havfent ever felt the nead to shim...it is slight and doesn't effect anything.

I shimmed mine when I first got it. The manual explains the process quite well.

Another one for shimming. I used a piece of scrap veneer.
