Maple burl winged platter/ wall hanging

I've had this slab of Maple burl for a while, finally got around to turning it. Turned a dovetailed groove around the edge of the bottom for hanging. 23" across by 1 1/4" deep, buffed Antique oil finish.

Beatiful piece Travis. How do you have time for work and still find time to produce all these beatiful pieces?

Priorities - unfortunately the paying laser jobs take priority over the fun of the lathe. Wish I could get back to it and finish what I've started.
