Has anybody here memorized the Grizzly Catalog?

    Here's another question:

Has anybody here memorized the Grizzly Catalog?

Somehow I have gotten into this habit. I've yet to buy a Grizzly tool, but I now consider myself an expert on their products.

Am I the only one who's done this?

Not memorized the catalog but know many of their larger tools by model number. But that is not limited to Grizzly as I have almost all the Delta stationary large tool modesl numbers memorized as well! I find this works extremely well at auctions and on craigslist to find deals.

BTW what is the model number of the Grizzly 1 1/4" 5/8" spindle bushing - J/K.

    Cool

I haven't memorized their catalog yet, but my copy does have some large drool marks on it and they aren't from my basset hounds. Yes, I do now own a Grizzly tool.

I'm currently memorizing Lee Valley's catalogue. Their Hardware catalogue is fascinating. I know...I don't have a life

Grizzly & Lee Valley are both in the basket in the "reading room." I can't say I've memorized them, but I know where to turn to find what I'm looking for.

I wouldn't say I've 'memorized' it. But I pretty much know what section which different tool is in. I have probably memorized the sections of tools that I want to buy. ..... wait a minute, "I HAVE MEMORIZED IT!!!"

    Test later?

If I do good, what do I win from the catalog?

Does it count if the catalog by my 'reading area' is Gold and Black???? If we can't have the tools.... at least we can dream..

My Woodworker's catalog is pretty well-thumbed too.

I bet yours is Woodworker's Supply, right? I've memorized quite a bit of that one too...

No way. Too many other things cluttering my so-called "memory." I have memorized where the index is, though: In the front, of all places; most others are in the back.

    You only have one?

What really shocks me is how much time I've spent looking at guitar parts and machine tools. I have no real interest in these things, but I keep checking them out.
