I was scanning the Friday sale pages on Amazon and they have the 3520B for $2294.99 plus $149 shipping. The sale is only good today. They also had a PM2000 on sale but I didn't check the price.

Age and Treachery will always beat youth and skill.
I hope Moderator Ken gets to see this before it's too late. I know he has Mustard Fever real bad.

Hurry quickly, TOOLNUT will match or beat that price, at least they did for the low price I found.
Man that's tempting b/c I plan on mustardizing within the year, but as you may have seen before I have some shop cleaning/organizing to do first! I guess I should get my bandsaw out of the box before I buy more tools.
Moderator Ken saw it........He's also in the process of making decisions about early retirement......If he retires, the tools will be on hold for a while by the ultimate authority of SWMBO! That being said, if he doesn't retire, in the next couple of months he could be ordering mustard, b/s, dc and j/p.......
Decisions and timing.......Oh my!
Ken
So much to learn, so little time.....
Patrick, I say order it. Surely you could have the new BS out of the box and the shop cleaned before next week....making plenty of room
Order it Patrick, you won't be sorry.
Friendship is the one bright light, that keeps on burning day and night.
Ouch. I just took delivery of one a little over a week ago. Oh well, never look back. BTW, it is great so far. If you do invest, just remember that lathes are like computers - no matter what you buy, you have to buy something else to make it work (chucks, replicator, turning tools, etc.)
So that's 2,443.99 with a 1 year warranty? If I buy from local for example,
The Cutting Edge in Houston it's 2,699 w free shipping....but with a 5 yr
bumper to bumper warranty...does the price difference reflect the shorter
warranty period??

Yup buy less lathe than you can afford, so you can still afford to accessorize.
That's right guy I said accessorize! What you thought only women did that? We do too, just with different toys!!!
Be a mentor, it's so much more fun throwing someone else into the vortex, than swirling it alone!
Patrick,
I haven't check recently but when I did earlier today there were only four left. So you best move fast or wait.
