What you listen to is your business....what you hear is ours.
This may turn out to be the thread of the year. Great stuff!!!!
I was going to go through some of my pictures to find a favorite project. By the time I retured the bar has gotten too high for me to enter this thread.
Geez you folks do some nice work......
.
A friend asked if I would make an enclosure for a dried flower from his brothers casket wreath. The project was made with coopered koa, maple burl, pine and mahogany woods. The inner frame is lighted with two leds, a yellow top light highlighting the surface and a lower red light illuminating the flower. In low ambient light, the rose appears to float. While the woodworking was basic, what made this project special was the emotion from which it was received.
In keeping with the (perceived) spirit of the thread...
Recently finished

which list are you supposed to pick the "best" one from?
This one is probably my favorite, but it's not all that high on the other lists.

You can never be too rich, too thin, or have too much ammo.
Michael, The chest is in Woodsmith Vol 29 No 169. It's approx 24" X 24" and 16" deep. I modified a few minor things and finished with shellac.
Alfredo, It's been a while.

Here is a dresser I made for my son. I am a beginner, and there was a lot of "firsts" in this project. Plans came from Wood Mag.
