    Imperial handsaw

Anyone have any info on Imperial handsaws. The Etching has a standing lion and on the bottom in smaller print it says "Pennsylvania BG Corperation". I also picked up a Disston 10pt crosscut and a Craftsman 11pt. crosscut today. $2 each from a neighbor. I wiil try for pics later but the Disston and Imperial are covered in surface rust but the etchings are still visible under it. The Craftsman is clean but really needs sharpening.

Imperial was a George Bishop brand. It is from 1906 to somtime after--there's no end date I can find. Which means maybe until Geo. Bishop stopped roduction (it was owned by Disston by that time).

    Take care, Mike
