    Clock

    Hi I thought I would show you my latest project I tried some different things on this one. You people were a lot of help on this one learned a lot on veneer and finishing got the books on finishing lots of help.
    I did all the carving the clock is about 52" long it was a 4 months worth of work The back and dial plate is burl walnut veneer and has an oil and shellac finish 4 coats and the rest has a satin lacquer finish I am very happy with it made it for my Wife she is happy now but not so much while I work on it spent to much time in the garage just want to say Thank You for all your help

    Wow!!! seems inadequate. That's a beautiful clock. I'm not surprised that your wife was pleased. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks again this site is the greatest. If you look in the one with the clamps you can see a drawing of the basic clock I make a full size drawing first so I have something to go by Lyle
