Are these clamps worth the money

Does anyone use these clamps for installing cabinets, if so are they worth the expense. I have always used hand screw clamps but was thinking of adding a couple of these to the collection. Dave

I've got a set, with the narrow face frames used today, you have to shim them. Also, when you tighten them really hardthe roll pin seems to back its way out.I still like C-clamps best.

I still like to just use 6 or 12" 'quick-clamps'; they've got pads to protect the wood and keep the frames tight but I can still knock them into alignment with a hammer(using a shim to protect the face), and are easy to use. If I need the strength of a c-clamp or other type clamp to join the faces, there is generally a problem with the face frames that needs to be corrected. Also, the c-clamps are easy to over-tighten leaving 'nickel-holders' in your wood. I've found the custom clamps to be more burdensome than helpful. JMO.

If the cabinets are flush with the inside of the face frame (Proulx method), then the clamps won't work. DAMHIKT. But I never return tools once they arrive.

This is what I use. Two per cab. Once you set 'em to the right width it's a one hand job. I bought some of the rubber coating dip available at the BORG and dipped both ends of the clamps in to protect the cabs. Cheap, effective and I don't need help(usually).

Several times I started to buy those, but hesitated.
    Those are dedicated clamps.

I always just use F-style clamps, which I always have in my installer box.
