Just ran across a website called Curious Woods, looks like they have all kinds of different woods for sale. Just google Curious woods and the site should come up.

bloodwood does not dry well in 8/4 stock. it tends to crack and check pretty badly. once in awhile you can find good stock but it tends to cause problems do you usually see only 4/4 stock.

Check me out down in the Manufacturer's Forum. I have some 4/4, 5/4, 12/4, and 16/4 mahogany species, and I will ship any where in the 48 states. None are over $5 per board foot.
