I had hoped to get one when I bought my Delta 17-965, but the promo wasn't on when I bought it. One of these days I'll look for one. Jim.

No, I'm not an electrician. Any information I share is purely what I would do myself. If in doubt, hire an electrician!

At a minimum, I'm Pentatoxic...Most likely I'm a Pentaholic. There seems to be no known cure. Pentatonix, winners of The Sing Off, s3.
I got the free Delta mortising attachment with my Delta DP. It's hardly worth the price, free! It looked as if it had been used and then reconditioned. The fence isn't square to the table, so I have to use a shop made fence. The auger bits looked like they hadn't even been touched by a sharpener, and the chisels needed a lot of work, as well.
Be careful.
Getting ready to buy the Delta Mortising Machine. As a result, I will offer the same deal to someone that I got here.
Got it last year, and never used it. Don't think I even took it out of the packaging.

One came with my Jet drill press. I sold it after using twice and buying a dedicated machine. (which takes up little room) Aside from the tedious "assembly" to the DP when you want to use it, the rotating DP quill mechanism requires a lot of hand action to make each cut, whereas the dedicated unit is one simple pull of the handle.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
