    As you noticed my TS has only one narrow (3/8") slot so, my sled is made a little bit different (I use the miter slot and two rails, one from each side of the table) but the "front fence alignment method is the same.

    I made this "demo" for a friend from Italy that asked how to make a sled easily and accurately without all the "2, 3 or 5 cut test.

    On the pic, you can see that the sled is wider than the table top

    Thanks for all the replies. Shop notes this month has an issue called tools and jigs, there is a sled in there that Im building that also can be used for miter cuts and a tenoning jig all in one. Check it out.
