    Miter Gauge

Can anyone recommend a good miter gague? I tried the Kreg but wasn't satisfied with it. Thanks in advanced.

Ditto. (Actually just sbout anything Incra makes is good stuff IMO.)

What was it exactly about the Kreg that you didn't like. It looks fairly comparable to the Incra.

I've got a JDS but plan on upgrading one of these days. Unless something else comes out, it would be either the Incra or Jessem.

My vote for the Incra V-27, very accurate and good price ...about $60.00. Jim Heffner

I have a Kreg, and am very happy with it. Why did you not like it?

I've got an Incra, Osborne, and Jet/Woodhaven. All three perform well. Overall I prefer the Incra for it's simplicity and accuracy. My EB-3 was problematic when new and the whole episode left a bad taste for me, but now that the gauge is working properly, I do like it....it's bulkier than the Incra but is better with longer pieces. The Woodhaven is as solid as a rock and extremely well made...it's also more time consuming to change settings on, but once set there's zero chance of deviation from aim.

    Miter gauge satisfaction

We have been very happy with the Jessem miter gauge in our shop. Very accurate and built like a tank.

I tried the Incra (1000SE) and hated it. I now have the Woodhaven, and couldn't be happier. It gets my vote.

I have the Osborne EB-3 and have been very happy with it. Never experienced any of the issues that others may have encountered. Heck, Nahm uses one, so it can't be that bad!!!

I've had the deluxe Woodhaven for 3 or 4 years and really like it.
