    finding files

    Hi all i have been turning some plates out of cherry and my son and daughter in law just had a baby my first grandchild i am looking for a file to have laser engraved onto a plate. maybe someone has seen them you know date of birth weight size and so on thank you for your help

    Sam, why go 'normal', if you are going to do it why don't you do something unique and might I suggest you use the childs zodiac sign - looks really neat

    You might also consider a footprint or a photo. I'd play with putting the vital statistics in a circle around the edge of the plate to see how that would look. Then the photo and name in the center.

    baby idea

    my boss scanned her daughters hospital footprint and lasered it on a piece - very cute with all the data around it.....
