The squiggles can be corrected to a point the reason for them is due to the length of the X arm and a resonance effect that happens.

The first thing to do is to let me know what firmware version you are running on your systems.

We can take it a step at a time until we can get it better.

Also we have the exact system here and would be willing to test your files as well.

Let me know.

I can get rid of the squiggles by turning off "enhance" in the driver, but that causes other problems with the engraving process. I've posted a small test file in corel version 12. I am running version 1.07M

That is your driver version I need to get the firmware version.

1) Turn system on
2) Once ready press the escape button
3) Move the cursor down and press select on preferences
4) Move the cursor down to ABOUT and press select
5) Give me this number it should be 23-23-39.sf it may not be this exact number but this is what I am needing.

I am glad to hear the positive responses as to the life of the tubes. This makes me feel a bit better but the shorter live seems to be the norm as of all the posts I have read in response to my question is that the tube life is 1-2 years.

What you should take away from all of those threads is that there is no guarantee on tube life... it can be 5 days and it can be 5 years. If we were to take an average, I bet it would be a few years, but as with all averages there are plenty of outliers to the norm. Figure on having enough money to purchase a tube replacement as soon as the warranty ends and you'll be fine.
