Arts and Crafts Chest of Drawers

Well..I finally got done with with one chest of drawers, one to go!! I am very pleased how the finish came out. QTR sawn white oak, dark walnut danish oil, and several coats of wipe on poly, then wax. Like I said, I have another chest of drawers to build, and the bedroom set will be compete. A kingsize headboard, and two night stands to match. The headboard and night stands are on other threads that I posted. Thanks for looking and happy cutting!!

Fantastic job. That'll be a piece to be handed down through generations. Sign it and date it because it'll be around longer than any of us. Again, great work.
What you listen to is your business....what you hear is ours.

  5. GREAT JOB MICHAEL!!!. That is a fun one to build. I built the same one for my son. I agree with Bill to sign the piece. It would be great that your great grandchildren can look at the piece and know who made it and when. It will make it a true family treasure.
