    Trying to donate through PayPal

In trying to be a good member of SMC, I clicked on the Donate button this morning, and then on the PayPal link. First, the title of the PayPal transaction says 2007, not 2008, and I cannot change it. Second, there is no place that I can see where I can enter my user name in the PayPal transaction, as requested in another post. My PayPal name and my user name here at SMC are not exactly the same (Dave here vs. David W at PayPal). Hmmm. Suggestions please.

Gary, the contributions made now count as 2008 Contributor status.

    Dave,

Aaron setup the 2007 title last year at PayPal and I can't for the life of me find where to edit it so I can change the year to 2008. I will bang him over the head this afternoon and get it corrected

Don't worry, the actual 2008 title is assigned here in our back office so the paypal link won't affect your account update title.

If you make a PayPal donation and there is additional information you need to provide you can send me a Private Message with the details. Just make sure you include your PayPal account name so I can connect the two and get your account updated.

    To All:

I have about 15 people who have donated via PayPal that I cannot connect to a user name here. The donations were made using business names or by people other than yourself, please send me a Private Message if you donated yesterday or earlier and your account title hasn't been updated.

    Thanks everyone,

    Keith

The transaction is now titled "2008 Contributor".
