    Grizzly G0440 Cyclone?

I’m setting up in a small 2 car garage and have almost all my stationary tool in place. I had hoped to pick up the 2hp Gorilla from Oneida but I’m having a hard time with the extra cost over the Grizzly….plus I have a $100 credit Griz! In reality there is about $300.00 difference but because of the credit with Griz it would be closer to $400.00 for me to go with the Oneida. Obviously the Oneida is the more refined system and what others are compared too. I have run across a few small issues with the Griz but no show-stoppers. What would I be missing out on if I went with the Griz? Please do not be concerned about CFM numbers, for my small shop both will do the job if plumbed right.

    Oneida Grizzly
    $795.00…2hp Gorilla $675.00…G0440
    $199.00…Shipping $94.00…shipping
    $78.00…Remote -$100.00…credit with Griz
    $1072.00…total $669.00…total

I just assembled by G0441 the 3hp model.

I am completely satisfied with the results. I am pretty sure I could have gone with a 2hp. I have a home shop with only one machine running at a time.

The fit and finish of this unit is excellent.

I will be posting a picture review of the install process, which was fun but took a full day with two guys to get-ur-done.

    More later.

I have the G0440 installed and am completely satisfied with the unit. Plan on having help installing the blower, it's one heavy piece of equipment.

Thanks guys, think I will get the Griz and use the savings for the plumbing. Bartee, looking forward to the up-coming review/pics
