Is that gonna require a re-boot of the DSL line?

    Terre,

Our server is a unix machine, rebooting is very rare but it doesn't automatically adjust for DST. There is no GUI system installed so its all command line stuff and I haven't logged into a unix machine since HRO closed so I will wait for Aaron to adjust the clock. If he doesn't get to it soon i will login and do the man page thing

Wonder if this is the reason the forum stopped recognizing which threads had been read. Sent a message about the time discrepancy (actually about 53 minutes per the NIST time service) via the "contact" link last night. This was posted at GMT-6 1:06am

The time server I was using is no longer up.. I am now using a different time server, so we should be good to go.

Using an NTP server won't fix a Daylight Saving time issue. NTP servers issue time in UTC time that never changes for DST. It is up to the operating system to convert UTC to the proper local timezone based on time of year.

Yes, but, the issue is not a daylight savings issue.

The issue was, our clock crept forward by almost an hour because the NTP server we were using was no longer up.
