    It's like riding a bike!

Remember that branding question I asked a few weeks ago? Well, I need to get those bowls done, but haven't turned a thing since September 3 (real life is just too busy sometimes!) so I was a bit nervous about making mistakes. Some practice was in order, so I grabbed a rough-turned red maple blank and 45 minutes later I was putting some mineral oil on this one (~7 inches). If you want to get picky I'll admit the outside curve isn't perfect, but it will make a nice lemon-wedge bowl on Thanksgiving. Turning is like riding a bike, the motions feel so automatic!

    Thanks for looking.

No brand yet... I just had to make sure I could still turn a bowl!

Pat I'ld say that you still have the knack. Great job.

Looks good from this end! I'm glad to hear that it's like riding a bike---my poor little Wilton has been clamoring for attention since I moved to my apartment.
That's not a light at the end of the tunnel; It's a naked singularity.
