Dovetail glueup - That wasn't so hard!

I was so worried about gluing up the large dovetail joint that I was afraid to do it. I have some slower setting resin glue ordered but that won't be here until Tuesday and I was anxious to get this project moving.

Well, after watching John Nixon's video about his blanket chest I thought "Heck, if John can do it, anybody can"! No, not really. His video described it so well that I felt like I had done it before. So today, I headed to the basement, test fit the joints again, taped the edges, got my clamps ready and put the Titebond to it. Came out perfect!

    Thanks John!

I can't post pictures because it's a Christmas present for my wife and we only have one computer. I know, I could go to the trouble of putting the in another folder but I don't want to take any chances. Pictures will follow after Christmas.
