    Wide Belt Sander Belts

I just got a new to me, used PM RB25 wide belt sander up and running this week. Now I need to get some belts in for it. I got a few with the machine and one of the brands was Hermes. They look really well made. Have any of you ever used their belts? I can get Klingspor belts for just under $28.00 ea. but I found the Hermes for $15.53 ea. by buying a box of 5. Any experiences shared regarding these or other brands would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rob

The significant problems we encounter cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

The penalty for inaccuracy is more work

    Brian,
I just went to Supergrit and I didn't find anything listed for a wide belt sander.
Do they have them and their not on the website? I need a 25" x 60" belt.

I think my 15" wide belts might be Hermes. If not, I know I have some discs or sheets of Hermes, and it performs satisfactorily.

The only paper I have that does not perform worth a flip is the Porter Cable branded discs. Junk.

Try Keystone Abrasives in Reading, PA. I use the wood pro belts. Good prices and good belts. What more can you want. They will also make belts for edge sanders and stroke sanders.

I've used lots of sanding products. For my money, Klingspor is the best.
