    Another sketchup question

I'm a scetchup newbe, I'm making some progress but need some help. I would like to show a screw that has been half way driven into a board. Used as an adjustment for a drawer stop. I also have trouble trying to depict two pieces held together with a bolt and nut. any advice?

Well, I was thinking more of a wood screw but that will work quite nicely.
    Thanks

This may help, I downloaded a screw component from google 3D Warehouse. As a component you can use the move tool to "push" the screw through a piece of "wood."

Download the screw from this collection.

If you don't have a copy of Google SketchUp for Dummies, you may want to buy one - it helped me soooo much. Just reading chapter 2 and viewing the associated short videos on U-tube has made things so much easier. I'm still a novice at SketchUp, but not as frustrated as before.

    Larry,

Thanks for that. I knew about the 3d warehouse but hadn't really checked it out. There are lots of components that I will make use of.
