    Hi Todd,

    No offense taken.

    Everyone has their own taste.

I have not glued the granite down to the plywood yet, in case we decide that we want another color of granite. I wish I still had a big slice of juniper root that I cut up into lamp bases. I think it would have made a nice table top.

    Thanks for your comments,

Did you race a formula car at PIR back in the 1970’s and 1980’s? Perhaps a Brabham or Chevron Formula A?

Ron, you've been blessed with some God given talent. That's amazing. How do you make the wood look so beautiful. I have a piece of Ironwood I'd like to bring back from the dead like that.

Ron, that is absolutely stunning. You have a wonderful eye for hidden art

Ron, on top of everything else, you have produced a beautiful piece while going through a challenging personal time. May your wife regain her full health soon - you both will remain in my prayers and I'm sure I speak for the rest of SMC. God bless and thanks again for sharing your inspirational artwork.

Great work! Here is a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. How did you route the electric wire up to the lamp?

Many Thanks to ALL for your comments.

  10. Outstanding job! I think the granite tabletop is a great addition to the piece overall.

Was it difficult flattening the bottom so that it'd sit flat?
