    Anyone know why?

NFL quarterbacks have a green dot on the back of their helmets? I noticed it a few weeks ago and now it is driving me crazy. No one else has one....

    It signifies a communication device.

    Designates a radio

New NFL rule requires only the quarterback can have radio communication. The green dot on the helmet designates that the quarterback has the radio and the NFl puts the sticker on each week. Only one green dot can be on the field at a time. Go to Google and type in "green dot on NFL helmet" and you will get tons of info about this.

    It's for the snipers.
The snipers union demanded it as a concession.
