    Toy Box

A week before Christmas my son called and asked for a toy box for our grand daughter. Nothing like waiting until the last minute We are having our Christmas dinner today so I got a little extra time. Here is the finished project. 20" tall, 22" deep and 32" long. Finish is 3 coats of Poly-crylic from Lowes.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

Interesting, just today was buying handles, and replacing hinges to the simple wood toybox I had as a little boy. Shortly it will be used to send fragile dinnerware 3000 miles across the US. Cardboard would have been too weak; am glad to use it for this purpose, later as a woodbox next to the fireplace. It has a lot of character...many, many dings.
Am sure your mighty fine toybox will be held in great esteem now and in later years.
