4000# Woodworking tool hoist on sale

Sometimes used as an engine hoist , Northern has the foldable 2 ton engine hoist on sale for $129 until tomorrow. If I had any luck posting pictures would do so, but stock number 144847.

The problem is the shipping, which for me is twice the cost of the tool itself. So I got the same thing (orange in color) from HF for $147 minus 15% during the recent past sale. Had to pay tax, of course, but no shipping.

I got the smaller crane (1 ton) at HF for $129 when it was on sale. I liked the smaller footprint and lighter weight. My problem with Northern Tool has always been their shipping costs.

It looks to me like the 1 ton crane is $129:

The crane pictured in Paul's post with the load leveler is $159.

The hoist pictured in Paul's post is exactly like the one in the back of my Jeep , even the color, and it includes the equalizer bar. Paid $129 plus tax, and no shipping cause it took me 15 minutes to get there and buy it from Northern. Their book shows $159 on [normal] sale, but that is not their sale price.
Now if I can figure out how to use it to lift my band saw so I can slip a mobile base under it.
