    Ridgid Planer Question

Hi there all I am looking at buying a used Ridgid TP1300 Planer. It is in good condition, has not had many boards run through it. The seller is asking $200 for it. Does this sound like a good deal for the planer?

    Thanks for any input.

I believe it is around $380 new so I would say that is a decent price. the planer reveiws well and there are some happy owners here as well IIRC.

That sounds like a fair price. Make sure you have some sort of dust collection for it.

Mine has been good. I'd say that price is reasonable.

I have one too and it has met or exceeded my expectations. If I saw one on sale here for $200, I would buy it just to have a spare.

The price is not to bad at all.

It came with a stand if they have it and there is a plastic chute the screws on for the dust collector. It came with extra blades under the in-feed or out feed tray and tools behind the door on the opposite side of the crank

It is a great planer for the money.

    Thanks GUys

Hey guys thanks for the info. I am going to pick up the planer tomorrow. It has the extra set of blades, the stand, and the dust chute.

I have been wanting a planer and was looking at the craftsman or dewalt for $500 but I think from what I have read this ridgid will do everything I want and leave a few hundred in my pocket.

    Thanks.

I paid 365.00 for a new one at Home Depot. It works well.
