Kitchen table and chairs pictures/ show your designs!
I was considering making a table and chairs for the family, do any of you have any pictures and designs of a table and chair project you have made in the past? Any and all designs would be interesting to see. I was possibly thinking along the mission stile, but not locked into any one stile or design. Let’s see some of the fine craftsmanship that the mill has to offer…bragging rights are okay!

Probably not what you are looking for and certainly not the talbe I wanted to make, but it's the one the LOML wanted.

This is a kitchen table I finished about nine months ago. It is loosely based on a current Stickley table. It is made from QSWO. I also made five chairs to go with this table but I haven't taken any pictures of them yet.

A simple country table after the one my family had when I was a boy. The white oak was left over after being culled from other projects. I just wanted to find a use for it.

And the first chairs I ever built. I was due on those after 35 years. They are made from para-wood under-neath runners recovered from pallets slated to be thrown away.

They are designed after library chairs I loved when I was a kid. I could sit in one of those for many hours reading and day-dreaming as a kid. I couldn't imagine how many Stuka's and Messerschmitt 109's I have shot down sitting in the seat (disquised craftily as a library chair) of my P 51 Mustang in the air War over Europe in WW II.

We are kind of simple folks that prefer simple function with the ability to withstand heavy use in our kitchen table and what we prefer reflects that fact.

    Good luck...

I did a kitchen table that expands to double the size and everything necessary to do the expansion is contained within the table. I have an explanation, and pictures, of the table here.

I also did some matching chairs which you can find here, about half way down.

I built this dining room table for us (one solid pine slab, dried it and it started out at like 10/4):

Once again you have impressed me with the quality of work you all are doing.
All of these tables and chairs look really great … are there any more out there to look at? I have been looking on some of the sites to buy plans but I just haven’t seen one yet that fits the bill as far as what I am looking for ( not sure myself till I see it )… Thanks

Here's a table I finished a few months ago. Hope to get to the chairs this fall.
I also made a buffet/bookcase from the same walnut stock.
