    Christmas Ornaments

Yea I know Christmas has come and gone or so I thought. I just got a check in the mail today from the Carnegie Arts Center for $540. They sold all of my turned ornaments, mini birdhouses, and bells except for 3. I was tickled to death. Now she wants me to bring down the fancy HF's and vases to display. She wanted to know if I would sell them and I told her yes but at my prices. She said no problem as they get 30%. We will see how it goes.

    Way to go Bernie

Congratulations, sounds like you are well on your way to establishing a good working relationship with the gallery. I'm sure they will want more next Chrismas as well.

I knew Bernie when he first started turning.....before he got well known....displaying and selling his stuff in a gallery.......quit working and moved to Virginia to be close to the gentry......Kansas wasn't formal enough for this artist.....

Congrats Bernie! No surprise to me. You have come a long way my friend!

Congrats on the sales Bernie! Glad to see you getting the recognition you deserve for your work! You should be able to sell all of your hollow forms as they are beautiful! Make sure you up the price to the Artist level!! Congrats again!

    Bernie,
That is really great news. Quality always sells so I'm sure your hf's will do well also.

    Thats great Bernie!

A consignment house Is certainly an easier and better way to sell than Craft shows.
