    Congrads on the purchase.

Keep a close eye on it though. They have a bad tendancy to multiply very quickly...

That's what we're here for Bill!

You guys want to start a bet here? I'd say at least four more by this time next year.

    Nice plane, have fun!

    It won't take that long!

And then there's the Disston Collection!

I agree with Brian. I bought my first plan less than two months ago, a beat up #4. Now I've got a #5 and a DE7, to say nothing of the #51 spoke shave and the #80 cabinet scraper

...and I'm still going on the planes!

Unfortunately, I just recently discovered Disston

Joe. Take my advice. Buy a bigger house now. You'll need it

One little slip & down ya go....
FWIW, I've tried leaving the lights on so the planes wouldn't multiply in the dark & it hasn't helped.... oh wait a minute I tried to give the planes a couple drinks before shutting the lights off hoping they'd procreate...LOLOLOL
Most of mine haven't been from rust hunting or from the big auction site, which has slowed my ability to have the pane family procreate rampantly.... the ones made in Maine aren't cheap (but neither am I most of the time). I did snag a north of the border #6 from the Creek Classifieds for a good price though.
After trying with 2 BORG versions of what Buck Bros call a plane, I tossed in the Neander towel for about 5 years. One whim to buy a LN #60 1/2 had me hooked... nevermind the feeling after I learned how to REALLY sharpen the iron....

    Cheers.

    Greg
