    Pecan Crotch Bowl

Well my demo for my club next weekend got canceled so it is back to bowl work for me. Bonnie Klien is going to be in town and is going to demo.

10 1/2 by 2 1/2 Pecan crotch bowl. The wood was taken from a Pecan orchard a mile or two from my house that was getting demolished, and 4 or 5 other creeker got some of the wood. Finish is minwax antique oil.

    Comments and critiques are apperciated.

Jason her eis the pic of the inside you wanted, just a quickie on the counter. The figure shows up a lot better on the outside then it does on the inside of this one.

Mike - beautiful bowl! It's getting to the point that when I see this form I know it is your work! Very nice form! Love the wood, the color and finish! Also like the way the bowl seems to reach for the sky! As always, very nice work!

Another nice one Mike, it definitely has the Vickery flare to it. You've got a style thats just a little different from the norm but it really works! The gradual lines contrasting with the sharp line of the rim has a real crisp look to it.

Looks great Mike, can we get a top view? I'd like to see how well the crotch figure shows on the inside.
