    Global shortage of thin plywood?

    I just spoke with my supplier of 1/8" baltic birch plywwod to oder a couple hundred sq ft. He said there was a global shortage and he had None. I'm in a bind, anyone have a source?

    How large of sheets do you need? Full 5'X5' or smaller I hope.

    Check with these folks for all kinds of plywood. They will custom make it for you from exotic woods. You can get stuff like redwood burl or about anything that you can think of.

    I belive the current administration is formulating plans to invade the Baltics in order to maintain our supply of plywood

    Corporate greed?

    Seems the way of the corporate world to stage supposed shortages to justify exhorbitant prices.

    I can't get any BB ply of any size or thickness. My local yard says it is just not available.

    For Dec. and Jan, our polywood supplier had no 18mm BB; Just brought some in, and the price waas up 40% since last Oct. Yikes. I then called to check price, hoping it was a mistake, but no, it was not.
