As many of you know, Austin, my 3 year old neighbor has bladder cancer. He is battling, but had a tough week this week. I’ve asked in the past and we’ve had several woodworkers send toys as well as lots of prayers. This week I received a personalize TV repair truck from Wes Bischel. It is similar to some vehicles Wes made for his own children. A wonderful piece and the craftsmanship and graphics are gorgeous. I was so excited I ran it over right away and gave it to Austin’s Grandmother, who was watching his older brother and sister while he received test and treatment out of town last week. Rob Lee, of Lee Valley fame also sent a really cool mini light, his brother was really eyeing the gifts, but Grandma made it clear they were for Austin.
