    Elm Burl NE

With all the discussion on Natural Edge pieces I thought I would post one. This is Elm Burl and measures 5" dia. x 5-1/2" tall. Walls at 3/16". Finished with antique oil and buffed. I was very fortunate with this piece as it is now in Hong Kong. Thanks for looking, all comments/critiques welcome.

Beautiful work as always Keith! Love the wood - color, grain and even the birdseyes! Amazed at the bark - quantity, height, and even the arch on the right side! Would be interested in the story as to how this made it to Hong Kong! Had to be somebody famous!

Very nice work Keith - thanks for posting!

Very, very nice work Keith! Did you use CA to support the bark?

That's a beautiful piece Keith. The bark with the different colors in it is awesome. Good job with keeping it all on and congrats on the international exposure.

I've got a couple of pieces with some Toyota execs somewhere on that side of the world too.

My eyes must be deceiving me, but....looks like it has three or four sides. If not, really fabulous. And if, still fabulous piece.
